Feather Fan

Fans were used by the medicine men and ceremonial dancers. Traditional powwow dancers still use them today. I created this fan (20″ H) including dangles, with bronze turkey tail feathers, Guinea hen feathers and a peacock feather. Also with brass tacks, eagle fluffs, trade wool, deerskin and a pine handle. Very lightweight!
