All artwork is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. All items shown below have been previously sold, but I can create similar styled reproductions. No two are ever exactly the same. Every item is a unique creation that you would be proud to own and display. Custom orders will be gladly considered.

BD-177 Buckskin Dress


BD-177 BUCKSKIN DRESS - SOLD.

This three hide buckskin dress is typical of the dress worn by many tribes of the "Plains". This  dress was made using a very soft gold buckskin with traditional rough side out. It features beautiful hand cut long fringe and is simply decorated with red and white glass crow beads, brass beads, steel conchos, nickle plated beads and ermine skins. All beads can easily be removed for personal color choice!


SS-099 Spirit Shield


SS-099 SPIRIT SHIELD - SOLD.

In the past, Spirit Shields hung on poles outside the tepees. They used themes from nature, such as buffalo, fox, wolf, bear, and more. Sometimes the shields identified tribal clans or individuals. The shield carried strong medicine according to the animal used in its design. This contemporary spirit shield pays tribute to the proud warrior of the past.It is made with Fox Face, Horsehair, Turkey Feathers, Bone, Brass, Abalone and more.

R-215 MEDICINE RATTLE - SOLD.

This beautiful turtle shell rattle offers a large turtle shell, trade wool wrap, deerskin, brass tacks, Guinea hen feathers, sinew and a Macaw feather. Rattle is approximately 15 inches long, plus 6 inches twisted fringe.

TS-228 TALKING STICK - SOLD.

In times of council the Talking Stick was passed to those who whished to speak. The warrior holding the stick was the only one with authority to speak while others remained silent. This Talking Stick was created using: Raccoon Skull, Coyote Fur, Assorted Trade Beads, Tin Cones, Turkey Feathers, Brass Tacks, Blue Trade Wool, Deerskin, Leather Display Loop and Hardwood Handle. 20 inches long plus 11 inch Deerskin Fringe.

BP-144 BREASTPLATE w/ CHOKER - SOLD.

The Breastplate and Choker protected the warriors chest and neck areas, and were originally made of bird, deer and buffalo bone. Hairpipe bone, generally made of cow bone, became popular as they were made available for "Trade" by the French and English traders. This example was crafted with Antique Bone Hairpipe, Cobalt Crow Beads, Catlinite Disks, Old Style Brass Beads, HorseHair and more.

WBP-174 WOMENS BREASTPLATE - SOLD.

This beautiful breastplate (31" neck top to bottom beads) is crafted using bone hairpipe, deerskin, brass beads, wood beads, crow beads, bone disk beads and strung using leather lace.

Loop Necklace LN-106


LN-106 LOOP NECKLACE - SOLD.

The loop necklace was popular from around 1870 to the 1930s, and was worn by such tribes as the Crow, Blackfoot, Shoshone, Yakama and others. Many famous native americans can be seen in old prints wearing their loop necklace, including Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce. This particular Crow Style Loop Necklace features ten strands of Antiqued Clamshell Disks, Tin Cones, Abalone Disks, Antiqued Hawk Bells, Trade Beads, Brass Beads, Cobalt Crow Beads and Deerskin.

Stunning "Loop" Necklace with old style appeal. Made with antiqued Clam Shell in smoke Buckskin and adjustable length ties. Worn by men and women alike. LN-168/105 LOOP NECKLACE - SOLD.

The "Loop Necklace" was a very popular adornment with many western tribes such as the Crow and the Nez Perce. I made this one using Clamshell Disks, Trade Beads, Abalone Disks, and Smoke colored Buckskin. It is fully adjustable, and includes a pair of single dangle matching earrings with stainless-steel earhooks. A great looking Set!

Buckskin Dress OS-080


OS-080 BUCKSKIN DRESS - SOLD.

This three-hide dress is typical of the plains indian dress worn by many tribes. It may be decorated with beading, quillwork, shells, fur and trade cloth. For everyday use the dress was worn without adornment. This particular example is in smoke colored Buckskin with traditional rough side out. Simply decorated with blue Crow Beads and old style Brass Beads. NOTE: Dress can be made in four (4) different hide colors.

Bags and pouches were made in various styles and sizes and were adorned according to tribal custom and personal choice. Bags were tied to belts, hung over the shoulder, and used for storage. Bags and pouches held such things as tobacco, spritual items, medicine, food, and the like. This hand-laced soft deerskin Belt Bag (7x10" plus fringe) has Latigo Belt Straps, Bone Buttons and Beadwork.

Feather Fan


FF-167 FEATHER FAN - SOLD.

Fans were used by the medicine men and ceremonial dancers. Traditional powwow dancers still use them today. I created this fan (20" H) including dangles, with bronze turkey tail feathers, Guinea hen feathers and a peacock feather. Also with brass tacks, eagle fluffs, trade wool, deerskin and a pine handle. Very lightweight!

This fan is made with simulated hand painted eagle feathers (27" total length) with brass tacks, mink fur, deerskin lace, trade felt, crow beads, cones, with a pine handle. This fan is very lightweight. Crafted with a sinew hang loop.

This Choker offers real antiqued bone hairpipe, antler button, mini crow beads, amber horn hairpipe, "heart" trade beads, soft deerskin leather, bone spacers and fits minimum neck size of 14 inches.

This very comfortable choker is made using antiqued ulta-thin bone hairpipe with 4mm glass beads and brass beads. Leather is smoked buckskin with double ties. Choker neck size is 12¼ inches & up.

This is a great looking real bone hairpipe choker. It is light-weight and is made using elkhide adjustable leather ties, small brass beads and turquoise color tile beads. Choker is 13" long and has soft double tie straps.

Designed originally to protect the neck, chokers now make a beautiful  adornment for both men & women. I made this one for a larger neck (like my own!). 17"L, crafted with soft Buckskin Spacers, Antiqued Bone Hairpipe, Natural Horn Hairpipe, Bone Disk, Crow Beads, Old style Brass and Aventurine Beads.

SH-126 SMOKEHAWK - SOLD.

Native Americans first used stone, wood and bone to make smokehawks. Iron hawks were provided by the French and English traders. The pipe bowl or smokehawk was a prized possession for the native american warrior. The design and decoration of the tomahawk gave power and meaning to the owner. This particular example is ready to smoke (approximately 19"L) with a hand-forged iron head featuring the classic "Weeping Heart" design. Crafted with Mink Fur, Turkey Tail Feathers, Bone Beads, Blue Chevron Beads, Hardwood Handle, Old Style Brass, Hen Feathers, Brass Tacks and Wool.

Pipe Axe SH-151

SH-151 PIPE AXE - SOLD.

Pipe-Axes were a very respected weapon, used by both native tribes and mountain men. Pipe-Axes were made available to the Indians by trading with English and French Traders. Axes like this were a prized possession of warriors and were used for battle, in camp, and for smoking. The axe, therefore, served a variety of functions, as a weapon, a tool, and for pleasure. This Axe is beaded in the Vietnam Service colors of Green, Yellow, and Red. It has an old style English "Trade" Brass Head, Brass Tacks, Rabbit Fur, Buckskin and Antiqued Simulated Sinew.

The Plains style Coup Stick with a bent top was a common sight and used by several tribes. This Coup Stick was created using the following natural items:  Rabbit Fur, Deer Toes, Dyed Horsehair, Turkey Wing Feathers, Polished Deer Antler, Old Style Trade Beads, Wool Trade Cloth, Deerskin Wrap, Brass Tacks, Sinew and a Hardwood Shaft. A great addition to your native/western home decor or pow-wow and can be used as a cane for special occasions!


WC-137 War Club


WC-137 GUNSTOCK WAR CLUB - SOLD.

Originating in the east woodlands, the War Club was also used by the Sioux and other "Plains" tribes. This War Club ( 24" ) is created with a forged steel blade, brass tacks, deerskin wrap, wrist thong and simulated sinew.

This stone war club is 23 inches long and features a large river stone (5½" x 3½") attached to a hardwood handle. Additional items include Rawhide Grip, Brass Cones, Glass Crow Beads, Mink Fur, 14 inch Deerskin Fringe, Turkey Feathers, Brass Beads, Antiqued Brass Tacks and Deerskin Wrist Wrap. This type of club was also called a "Skull Crusher".

WC-164 WAR CLUB - SOLD.

Originating in the east woodlands, the War Club was also used by the Sioux and other "Plains" tribes. This Gunstock War Club (35"L) features three Iron-forged blades with Brass Tacks, Deerskin Wrap, Brass Cones, Earth Pigment Paint, Horsehair and Antiqued Simulated Sinew. This fearsome weapon replica is made with Oregon Pine for easy display.

WC-211  WAR CLUB - SOLD.

This reproduction war club features three six-inch hand-forged steel blades, brass tacks, turkey body feathers, earth pigment paint, brass cones, deerskin wrist strap, fox face, simulated eagle feathers, deerskin and sinew. This war club is 39" long (plus 11" fringe) and 12" wide. NOTE: A War Club like this was used in the battle of the Little Big Horn. It is a mankiller and should be displayed with caution!


Gun Scabbard GS-172


GS-172 GUN SCABBARD - SOLD.

Rifle scabbards protected the weapon and were used by both Indians and Mountain Men. I made this scabbard using Elk Hide with Horse Hair, Cones, Rabbit Pelt, Trade Felt, Crow Beads and Beadwork. A scabbard can be custom made to fit your guns.
