Pipe Axe SH-151
SH-151 Pipe Axe

Pipe-Axes were a very respected weapon, used by both native tribes and mountain men. Pipe-Axes were made available to the Indians by trading with English and French Traders. Axes like this were a prized possession of warriors and were used for battle, in camp, and for smoking. The axe, therefore, served a variety of functions, as a weapon, a tool, and for pleasure. This Axe is beaded in the Vietnam Service colors of Green, Yellow, and Red. It has an old style English "Trade" Brass Head, Brass Tacks, Rabbit Fur, Buckskin and Antiqued Simulated Sinew.
