Coup Stick. A warrior's
skill and bravery was demonstrated when he touched his enemy as opposed
to killing him (known as counting coup). This Sioux styled Coup Stick
(42"L) is reproduced with red dyed Horsehair and Brain Tanned Buckskin
and features Clam Shell, Tile Beads, Earth Pigment, simulated Great
Horned Owl Feathers and Sinew.
